Miami Heat's Duncan Robinson Reacts To Michigan's Rose Bowl Win Over Alabama

The Michigan Wolverines defeated the Alabama Crimson Tide in the college football semifinals.

The Michigan Wolverines advanced to the College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship after their 27-20 victory over the Alabama Crimson Tide (12-2).

Among those celebrating is Miami Heat sharpshooter Duncan Robinson, who played at Michigan from 2015 to 2018 after transferring from Williams College. Robinson was seen celebrating their victory pregame, reciting former NFL coach Dennis Green's infamous "They were who we thought they were" speech.

Robinson also went to a national championship with the Wolverines in 2018, but they were defeated by Villanova behind a 31-performance from guard Donte DiVincenzo off the bench. Robinson struggled with zero points on 0 of 3 shooting in his 22 minutes of play.

He hopes his former football counterparts can go all the way behind quarterback J.J. McCarthy and running back Blake Corum. It would be their first title since 1997, the last year before the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) was introduced as the selection system and then re-structured as the CFP in 2014.

In the meantime, Robinson has his own game to focus on, as the Heat take on a Los Angeles Clippers team Monday night that has won 11 of their last 13 games. Miami is trying to bounce back from their Saturday loss to the Utah Jazz.
