The Charlotte Hornets lost to the Orlando Magic on Monday, 106-83, but third-year guard Malik Monk had one of his best games in a while.

Monk, 21, scored 20 points and had two assists and a rebound in 22 minutes of play. The Kentucky product had gone eight straight games without a double-digit scoring performance.
