The Utah Jazz are hoping to reach the .500 mark again on Thursday as they return home to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. Utah sits at a 24-25 record for 10th in the Western Conference, so a win in this one would be more than welcomed for their Play-In Tournament aspirations.

However, Philadelphia enters this contest with a lot at stake as well. They currently stand on a four-game losing streak entering this final matchup of the road trip stuck at just 5th in the Eastern Conference. While a win on Thursday could provide a much-needed spark to this unit, their collection of injuries might make it easier said than done.

It was reported on Wednesday that MVP candidate Joel Embiid will miss his second game against the Jazz this season due to a knee injury and will continue to be evaluated across the next 24 hours. It's a tremendous loss for Philadelphia, but that's not all they'll be missing out on.

Both teams unveiled their injury report for the contest, showcasing numerous inactive on the 76ers' side:

Utah Jazz:

Taylor Hendricks- QUESTIONABLE (G-League)

Brice Sensabaugh- QUESTIONABLE (G-League)

Johnny Juzang- OUT (two-way)

Micah Potter- OUT (two-way)

Jason Preston- OUT (two-way)

Philadelphia 76ers:

Joel Embiid- OUT (knee)

Tyrese Maxey- QUESTIONABLE (ankle)

Nicolas Batum- QUESTIONABLE (hamstring)

Marcus Morris- DOUBTFUL (foot)

Robert Covington- OUT (knee)

DeAnthony Melton- OUT (back)

Kenneth Lofton Jr.- OUT (personal)

Along with Embiid sidelined, the 76ers could also be without their prospective All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey, who is listed as questionable with an ankle injury. He's been out for close to a week, last playing against the Indiana Pacers last Thursday, but this improved status provides some hope for his return.

While Maxey's status does provide some optimism, the same can't be said for a few other guys in Philadelphia. Don't expect to see Robert Covington, DeAnthony Melton, or Kenneth Lofton tonight, as they've already been pinned as out for the game.

As for the Jazz, it's a notably healthy slate, with only their G-League assignments listed. While seeing Taylor Hendricks and Brice Sensabaugh get some playing time would be exciting to watch, fans might have to wait until after the trade deadline for this Utah rotation to completely shake out.

The Jazz and 76ers will tip off in the Delta Center tonight at 8 PM MT for a nationally televised game on TNT.
