Jazz-Bucks Injury Report: Damian Lillard Status Revealed

The Utah Jazz are back at it on Sunday evening versus the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Utah Jazz will be looking to snap a three-game losing streak when they face the Milwaukee Bucks at the Delta Center. The Bucks won't be at full strength heading into the contest.

Kris Middleton (knee) and Brook Lopez (personal) are out, while Damian Lillard (ankle) is listed as questionable. Also, Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) is probable. The Jazz don't have anyone listed on the injury report.

Thanks to the NBA scheduling, the Jazz will be catching a break in this one. The Bucks will be playing the second game of a back-to-back in which Antetokounmpo logged 40 minutes in a 129-117 win over the Dallas Mavericks. In a competitive Western Conference, the Jazz will need all the help they can get.

Despite the three game losing streak, Utah is still in striking distance of a playoff spot. They’re currently the tenth seed, but only by percentage points. Utah will need to make some hay during this home stand if they want a shot at staying in the conversation of making the playoffs.

Utah’s next seven out of eight games will be played at the Delta Center, where they boast a 15-7 record. Playing the Golden State Warriors twice and the Los Angeles Lakers once at home will be games that Utah will need to take advantage of to stay in the thick of the playoff conversation.

Winning hasn’t been easy, with the trade deadline just around the corner. I’m sure once the Jazz players get closure on the trade front, it will be much easier to focus on the task at hand. The trade deadline is on February 8.

Utah is pegged as a 2.5-point favorite for tonight, with the tip-off scheduled for 6:00 p.m. MST.
