Kings-Heat Injury Report: Butler, Herro, Rozier Status' Revealed

The Kings host a shorthanded Heat squad on Monday night.

Coming off a statement road win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday night, the Sacramento Kings head home to host the Miami Heat in what would have been must-watch TV under different circumstances. Due to an altercation in Friday's Heat-New Orleans Pelicans game, several players received suspensions, including Miami's superstar Jimmy Butler, causing him to miss Monday's game in Sacramento.

After starting the season 0-3 on the second leg of back-to-backs, the Kings broke their streak and have won four straight. Sacramento's stars, Domantas Sabonis and De'Aaron Fox, have come out of the All-Star break on fire, and their impressive play must continue the rest of the season as the Kings fight for playoff position.

After Sunday's win over the Clippers, the Kings have moved back into 5th place in a competitive Western Conference, standing four games behind 4th, as first-round home-court advantage is within arm's reach.

Monday's matchup against the Heat is a must-win for the Kings to keep their momentum going. Both teams have released their Injury Reports ahead of the cross-conference game:

Sacramento Kings:

Sasha Vezenkov - OUT (ankle)

Miami Heat:

Thomas Bryant - OUT (suspension)

Jimmy Butler - OUT (suspension)

Nikola Jovic - OUT (suspension)

Josh Richardson - OUT (shoulder)

Dru Smith - OUT (knee)

Tyler Herro - OUT (knee)

Terry Rozier - OUT (knee)

Orlando Robinson - QUESTIONABLE (back)

Duncan Robinson - AVAILABLE (shoulder)

Sacramento's Injury Report is slim compared to Miami's, as the Heat are down seven rotational pieces. Even though there is a long list of all the injuries and suspensions, the Heat will be a dangerous matchup for Sacramento, led by All-Star big man Bam Adebayo, rookie stud Jaime Jaquez Jr., and sharpshooter Duncan Robinson

Miami's rotation will be out of sorts in Monday night's matchup, as they will be down three starters and the majority of their offensive production. With Sacramento only missing backing wing Sasha Vezenkov, as expected, the Kings will have a significant advantage over the Heat as they defend their home court.

The Kings and Heat tip off Monday at 7 p.m. PT.
