Kings Hold Off Bulls Late Charge To Move 10 Wins Above .500

The Kings are 29-19 on the season after the win against the Bulls.

The Sacramento Kings have been a very volatile team this season - no lead is safe for the Kings or their competitors. The same happened tonight, as the Kings went up by as much as 30 against the Chicago Bulls but were able to hold out for a 123-115 win in Chicago.

G De'Aaron Fox came out firing for his son Reign's first birthday. Fox dominated tonight with a 41-point performance on 13-24 shooting, including 5 three-pointers. Fox also had 4 assists, 5 rebounds, and a whopping 5 steals. Fox joins Kings legend Mitch Richmond as the only players in the Sacramento Era of Kings history (1985-Present) with back-to-back 25+ point 5+ steal games.

C Domantas Sabonis also had a big game, posting his 14th triple-double of the season with 13 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Only Nikola Jokic has more this season, with 15. Sabonis also recorded his 31st consecutive double-double - only 14 players in NBA history have recorded 30 consecutive double-doubles.

G Malik Monk continued his Sixth Man of the Year campaign tonight with a hot 22-point, 7 assists, and 5 rebound night. F Trey Lyles also had a good night off the bench posting 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

The Kings have moved to 5-1 on their 7-game road trip, and are 10 wins above .500 on the season with a 29-19 record. Sacramento will close out their road trip against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday, February 5 at 4 p.m. PT/7 p.m. ET.
