Lakers Injury Report: 5 LA Players Out Vs Suns As LeBron James, Anthony Davis In Question

The Lakers are an infirmary right now.

As the Lakers look to take on the Suns this afternoon, the injury report yet again features over half the active roster (8/15 players).

LeBron James (ankle), Anthony Davis (achilles), and Cam Reddish (ankle) are all questionable, while Jarred Vanderbilt (foot), Gabe Vincent (knee), and Christian Wood (knee), have all been ruled out.

Jalen Hood-Schifino and Maxwell Lewis have also popped up on the injury report, being set to miss the game due to being on G-League assignment.

Against a Suns squad with multiple elite scorers, the losses of Vanderbilt and Vincent will be felt. Reddish, who has been out for a bit now, appears as though he might play, which would be a huge boost to the point-of-attack defense.

In the Lakers' 3 games (and victories) over the Suns this season, Reddish has spent heavy minutes guarding Kevin Durant. Without him, LA will likely have to turn to Rui Hachimura in the starting group and Taurean Prince off the bench for that matchup – two worse defenders.

Expect James and Davis to play, as the two have been injury report-regulars for weeks now. Reddish is a coin-flip, but his health upgrade is a good sign going forward.
