Former Lakers Big Compares LeBron James' Leadership Style To A 2024 MVP Favorite's

These two are very different and similar at the same time.

Los Angeles Lakers superstar forward LeBron James isn't only one of the best basketball players ever but also a tremendous leader. It's no secret why almost every team he's been a part of has had sustained success.

James is the main reason for taking his teams to a new level, and he does it in a multitude of ways. Only those who have been in close quarters with him can truly understand—like former Laker and teammate of James, center Thomas Bryant.

Bryant only spent half a season with The King, but he's familiar with his leadership style. In a recent appearance on the Playmaker podcast, Bryant compared the leadership styles between the four-time MVP to  Nuggets superstar and two-time MVP Nikola Jokic.

Bryant was traded to the Nuggets at last year's trade deadline. He was a part of the Nuggets’ run to the 2023 championship.

The 26-year-old said James leads more by being vocal, compared to Jokic, who leads by example.

Although James and Jokic may have different leadership styles, their games are quite similar. Both are tremendous passers, can score the ball at will, and are difficult to guard when they are on. Their passing ability is what really separates the two, and there's no doubt they will be forever enshrined in Springfield, Massachusets.

These two are great players and leaders in their own right.
