Lakers News: Insider Confirms LeBron James Still Has Dreams of Playing with Bronny

Could this be the last season for LeBron in LA?

The worst kept secret in the NBA is the want from Lakers star LeBron James to play with his son Bronny James on a NBA court. The senior James has spoken about this fact multiple times and he has even aligned his contract around when his son is scheduled to enter the league. Bronny James will be attending USC this fall before joining the NBA next year.

Longtime NBA analysts Brian Windhorst said on ESPN show Get Up that James has been going back and forth on his want to play with his son but that he "really really" wants it to happen.

For this to come true, the elder James would need to decline his player option for next season with LA and then join whatever team drafts his son.

James recently threw some fuel to the fire about this, reacting to a mock draft done that saw his son being taken by the Atlanta Hawks next season.

While James could have just been having some fun during the offseason, he is a very calculated person. He knew exactly what he was doing when he posted this and it could mean that he seriously is considering joining whatever team his son ends up playing for.

It would be a surreal moment for James if he is able to play alongside his son, especially if it's during his final NBA season. James hinted at a possible retirement after the Lakers were swept out of the playoffs this year but most around the league believe that he will return for his 21st season.

This will be a story to watch unfold over the next year or so. We could be seeing the final season of James being with the Lakers, unless LA drafts his son.
