Magic Ready for Nets' Adjustments After Blowout Win in Last Matchup

The Orlando Magic is looking to bounce back in its next game against the Brooklyn Nets, a team that the Magic beat handily in their last matchup.

The Orlando Magic has lost two games in a row for the first time since January, and it will be looking to bounce back in its next game against the Brooklyn Nets.

The last time the two teams met was on Feb. 27 in Orlando where the Magic was able to get a commanding 108-81 win. Head coach Jamahl Mosley talked about his approach to the rematch in a recent interview.

"Obviously we did some very good things in that last game," Mosley said. "They will make the adjustments, they'll have guys back on the roster that we didn't see the last time, so it's going to be adjusting to some of their players. But I will always go back to  'Are we holding ourselves to our standard of play?' And if we do that we give ourselves a chance every single night."

In the last matchup between the two teams, the Nets shot less than 40 percent from the field and 25 percent from three, causing them to only score 81 points. Chances are that that will not happen twice, so the Magic should be ready.

The team is looking to finish the year strong and climb the Eastern Conference standings before the postseason rolls around. The Magic is currently in fifth place, but it could use this upcoming home stand to ascend the rankings.

The Magic will be back in action in a rematch against the Nets tonight at home. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET from the Kia Center.
