Mavs' Luka Doncic Joins LeBron and Big O in Rare '150/50/50/6 Club'

It's triple-double heaven as Mavs' Luka Doncic Joins LeBron and Big O in the Rare '150/50/50/6 Club'

Luka Doncic is about more than numbers. The Dallas Mavericks' young star is about joy and success and so much more. But the numbers ... are still pretty cool, including his presence in a notable '150/50/50/6 Club.'

What is this club? Luka joins some of the most elite company in NBA history by having amassed 150 points, 50 rebounds, and 50 assists in his first six games of the regular season.

Who else is in this club? Oh, only Oscar Robertson, Russell Westbrook, John Havlicek and LeBron James. That's it, according to research by StatMuse.

The legendary Robertson did this four times, and Westbrook has accomplished the feat twice. For Luka, it all adds up to averaging very near a triple-double as he's at 16.7 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 9.5 assists on the season.

A more important number for the reigning Rookie of the Year is 4-2; that's Dallas' record following a victory at Cleveland on Sunday that pushes the Mavs to 3-0 on the road, one of just two NBA teams that have reached that level of success.

There are, of course, a couple of wins that got away for the Mavericks. A tough referee decision led directly to a loss to Portland, and on Friday, they lost in OT to the Lakers with a buzzer-beating non-call also playing a key role.

In fairness, Dallas' struggles, when they've occurred, are also the result of other factors, including poor free-throw shooting. And Luka is working to get better there, too. But as is?

No wonder LeBron told him to his face that he's a "bad MF'er.''
