New York Knicks v Denver Nuggets

Nikola Jokic's Injury Status vs. Memphis Grizzlies Revealed

The Denver Nuggets have released their injury report

The Denver Nuggets are set to face the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night, and superstar center Nikola Jokic is being listed as questionable with low back pain and left
hip inflammation. It is the time of year when many players are less than 100%, especially high usage players like Jokic, who has been banged up for a while.

Always durable for Denver, Jokic has played 68 of the Nuggets' 71 games this season, but did miss their most recent contest vs. the Portland Trail Blazers. The Nuggets were still able to escape with a win in that game, as they continue to remain in a tightly contested battle for the first seed.

What was at one point a four-team race atop the West between the Denver Nuggets, OKC Thunder, Minnesota Timberwolves, and LA Clippers, has become a three-team race in recent weeks amid LA's struggles. While the Clippers have fallen off, Denver, OKC, and Minnesota remain in a back-and-forth race for the first seed, with just 1.5 games seperating those three teams.

This game against the Grizzlies is one the Nuggets should get, even if Jokic is unable to go, as no team has been hit harder by injuries this season than Memphis. Looking to keep pace with OKC, Denver needs to take advantage of this game against the Grizzlies on Monday night.
