Nikola Jokic Makes History vs Phoenix Suns

Nikola Jokic is a once in a generation player.

Nikola Jokic is only 28 years old, but he's already had one of the greatest NBA careers ever. That greatness continued on Wednesday night against the Phoenix Suns.

Even though the Denver Nuggets lost against the Suns, Jokic made some amazing history in the process. He became the first player in NBA history over a 5 year span to record over 8,000 points, 4,000 rebounds, and 3,000 assists.

At such a young age, Jokic is already 4th on the NBA's all-time triple-double list. He currently has 127 career triple-doubles, even more than LeBron James. Russell Westbrook is number one on the list with 198, and Jokic has a legitimate chance to pass him as well.

It's hard to say where Nikola Jokic will end up on all of these all-time lists he keeps joining, but it's very clear he has a chance to be near the top in all of them. There are very few players in NBA history like Nikola Jokic, and he has a legitimate chance to be one of the all-time greats if he ends up winning more championships.

The Denver Nuggets remain the first seed in the Western Conference despite losing to the Phoenix Suns last night. Their lead on the seed is only half a game though, so there can't be too many slip ups moving forward.
