Anthony Edwards in for Timberwolves' game at Detroit

Star guard was listed as questionable with left knee tendonitis.

Anthony Edwards is a go for Wednesday night’s game at the Detroit Pistons.

Edwards was listed as questionable for the game due to left knee tendonitis, and he was also listed as questionable ahead of Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers with left knee soreness. Edwards played on Sunday, scoring 33 points in a 109-105 win but wore a sleeve over his left knee throughout the game.

Minnesota will look to build on its back-to-back wins when it takes on the lowly Pistons, who are just 4-36 this season. Edwards being in the lineup will only help the Timberwolves’ cause, with the 22-year-old guard leading the team, averaging 26 points per game. Edwards is also averaging 5.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest.
