Anthony Edwards will play Thursday at Dallas

Wolves star returns after missing Monday's game with hip injury.

Anthony Edwards is back.

The star guard was in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Mavericks in Dallas.

Edwards was previously listed as questionable with a right hip pointer.

Edwards did not play in Monday’s 121-107 loss at New Orleans after reaggravating the hip injury in the first quarter of Friday’s game at Memphis.

Edwards checked himself out after taking a fall during the opening minutes against the Grizzlies and did not return to the game.

While the Wolves destroyed Memphis despite losing Edwards in the opening minutes, their offense struggled in Monday’s loss. Their rhythm seemed off all night and they had no firepower that could contend with the Pelicans' Zion Williamson, who finished with 36 points.

But the Wolves get their leading scorer back Thursday, and they’ll look to avoid losing back-to-back games for the first time this season.
