Mike Conley in for Timberwolves' game against Mavericks

Point guard was questionable with left hamstring soreness.

Mike Conley is good to go for the Timberwolves’ Wednesday night game against the Dallas Mavericks, coach Chris Finch said pregame.

Conley was listed as questionable ahead of the game with left hamstring soreness, which caused him to miss Monday’s win at the Oklahoma City Thunder as well as Saturday’s loss at the San Antonio Spurs. Finch said on Jan. 22 that Conley has been dealing with a nagging hamstring issue for a while.

Conley has been a crucial piece of this year’s Timberwolves team, particularly down the stretch late in games. Minnesota struggled at times in that regard during his recent absence, in which he’s missed four of the last five games to either rest, illness or the hamstring injury. The Wolves went 2-2 in those games.

Conley averages 10.9 points, 6.4 assists and 2.7 rebounds per game this season.

The Mavericks, meanwhile, will be down Luka Doncic (ankle), Kyrie Irving (thumb), Dereck Lively II (broken nose), Dante Exum (knee) and Derrick Jones Jr. (wrist). Doncic, Irving and Lively were ruled out on Tuesday; however, Exum and Jones were listed as doubtful leading up to the game.
