Draymond Green's Honest Statement on Warriors' Struggles

The Golden State Warriors are struggling

The Golden State Warriors have had an incredibly disappointing season. Currently in danger of falling out of the play-in picture, not only do the Warriors not look like a championship contender, they don't even look like a team that can make the playoffs.

While Golden State's roster construction is undoubtedly not one of a contender, any team with Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson expects to compete for a title every year. Speaking on his team's struggles, Green made an honest statement following a frustrating loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

"We lose a lot of games we should win,” Green said of the Warriors. “In this league, you have to win the games [that] you’re supposed to win and steal a few that you’re not supposed to win. But if you lose the ones you’re supposed to win, you’re in for a long year.”

This has been the story for Golden State all season, as they have dropped several games they should have won, and in many cases, dropped games they were on their way to winning. All of this has led to their underwhelming record, and potential fall out of the play-in picture.

While the season is not over yet for Golden State, they are certainly in some trouble, and need to turn things around now.
