Steph Curry Makes History in Warriors vs. Thunder Game

The Golden State Warriors have a new all-time field goals leader

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry is always finding new ways to make history on the basketball court. Whether that be with his three-point shooting or other elements of his game, Curry is constantly ascending up leaderboards. In Monday night's game between the Warriors and Thunder, Curry made history by becoming Golden State's all-time leader in made field goals.

Curry overtook Wilt Chamberlain for the top spot on the Golden State's all-time made field goals list, and he did it in much different fashion than Wilt. The all-time leader in three-pointers made, Curry has changed the game with his shooting ability. By the time his career ends, it is hard to imagine too many Warriors statistical records that Curry will not hold.

Now Golden State's all-time leader in field goals, Curry also leads the franchise in career points, threes, assists, and steals. His record breaking field goal on Monday night came as part of a 38-point performance that led the Warriors to a much needed road win against a tough Thunder team. OKC would not go away in this one, but Curry and the Warriors were able to survive a second-half surge from the Thunder.

Steph Curry continues to turn in MVP-level performances to help his Warriors make up ground in the tightly contested Western Conference. Tonight he not only got the win, but made history in the process.
