Wizards Face Daunting Challenge On Back To Back Night

Wizards Facing Daunting Challenge Tonight

The Wizards strength of schedule this season seems to get tougher and tougher as each day passes. Last night, they had the challenge of the expected NBA Rookie of the Year, Victor Wembanyama. He is a player that can score multiple ways. Tonight, the challenge gets even more challenging as they are welcoming a two time MVP, Nikola Jokic. The Joker is a triple double machine who can beat you in every way possible on the court. The Wizards certainly have a daunting challenge tonight.

The Bottom Line

The Denver Nuggets are the reigning NBA Champions. One year later, they still are just as dominant as they were last season, if not even more dominant this season. Everything they do goes through Nikola Jokic. His court vision is on the same level as LeBron James and Magic Johnson. The difficult part when playing against The Joker is the fact that he can score and beat you that way too. The Wizards best chance at beating the Nuggets tonight is to simply deny him the ball. They need to force Jamal Murray to make plays. The Wizards may not have a chance in this game tonight if Jokic is hitting on all cylinders. They will need to force him out of this game by way of foul trouble. If he isn’t in the game, the Wizards will have the opportunity to capitalize and take advantage of that situation.
