Washington Wizards November Highlights

All The Good Things That Happened In The Month Of November

With 15 games played in November and only 2 wins to show for it, you may think there isn't much good that happened for this team last month but at Inside The Wizards, we're here to prove that wrong!

Before the Wizards played the Detroit Pistons on November 27, The Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation announced their new jail reform program to benefit incarcerated women and provide holiday gifts to children visiting their moms. Read more on this story by clicking here.

The Wizards took home the win over the Detroit Pistons and Daniel Gafford recorded his eleventh multi-block game of the season. This tied him with Myles Turner (Indiana) and Brook Lopez (Milwaukee) in the Eastern Conference. Also during this game, Deni Avdija achieved his 500th career assist. He ended the month with 55 assists with an average of 3.8 assists.

Deni also shared his disappointment on the support from fans during the Wizards vs Knicks game on 11/17 stating that the "Let's Go Knicks!" cheers really got him "Angry". See his full statement by clicking here. Thankfully after his comments the crowds at Capital One Arena are cheering more for their home team.

There were also a few game stats we'd like to highlight including when the Wizards Beat the Hornets. They were totally dominant in their 132 – 116 win which was the most points against Charlotte in series history. On this night, Washington’s 42 second quarter points were the most scored in a single quarter this season and the Wizards bench had a season best 72 points.

Also on the Wizards Instagram page, a few of the players sneakers were highlighted for the month of November.

Speaking of fashion of course we had some amazing fits worn by the team throughout November! Check them all out in the articles below:

It's the beginning of a new month and we hope December has many more highlights! Check back in with us at the end of the month for the summary and let us know anything we missed by following Inside The Wizards on Facebook and Twitter.
