Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin had a disappointing 2013 campaign thanks to a putrid offense led by Josh Freeman and injuries that ultimately ended his season. Martin's year was cut short in Week 7 after he tore a labrum, and he has been recovering from shoulder surgery to repair the issue ever since.
On Monday morning, the Buccaneers got some good news regarding Martin after the star running back met with his doctors and heard the news that he had been anticipating.
An ecstatic Martin took to his official Twitter account, where he announced that he has been medically cleared to return to the Buccaneers.
Martin's return comes right on schedule and he will now be able to participate in the team's offseason workouts.
