Owen Daniels signs deal with Baltimore Ravens

Tight end Owen Daniels will reunite with former coach Gary Kubiak in Baltimore, according to a report from Aditi Kinkhabwala of the NFL Network. The tight end agreed to terms with the Ravens on a reported one-year deal Thursday.

Daniels is coming off his worst season as a pro, a year in which he battled injuries and started only five games for the Houston Texans, catching 24 balls for 252 yards and 3 TDs. In Daniels' absence, Garrett Graham emerged as a reliable target, hauling in 49 passes for 545 yards and 5 TDs, making the veteran expendable. The Texans cut Daniels in March, in part to shed his $6.25 million cap figure.
