Jermichael Finley drawing interest from Oakland Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers

The New England Patriots met with free agent tight end Jermichael Finley last week, but the former Pro Bowler has not yet found a home for the 2014 season.

Finley, coming off what many considered to be a potentially career-ending neck injury, was recently cleared by the surgeon who performed his operation and is looking to get back on the gridiron.

Rumors have swirled that the Green Bay Packers may have interest in bringing Finley back, but the Pittsburgh Steelers and Oakland Raiders are the two most recent teams reported to be expressing interest, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Steelers team doctor Joseph Maroon is also the surgeon who performed the fusion of Finley's C3-C4 vertebrates last fall, so it's not surprising the team cleared Finley.
