Home of former Steelers cornerback Deshea Townsend site of massive drug bust

A home owned by former Pittsburgh Steeler Deshea Townsend was the site of a massive heroin bust on Sunday night, according to CBS Pittsburgh.

According to the Attorney General’s Office, two men, Price Montgomery and James Perrin, were arrested at a home on William Street owned by Townsend, though there is no indication that to Townsend was connected to the men.

Along with the arrests, DEA agents seized 1,500 bricks of heroin, 16 firearms, more than $100,000 in cash and jewelry, two luxury vehicles, Cuban cigars and a live chicken.

Townsend spent 13 years playing in the NFL, 12 with the Steelers before and a final season with the Indianapolis Colts in 2010. He is currently the cornerbacks coach at Mississippi State.

The Attorney General's Office said they plan to update more information on the arrests and seizures in the coming days. Of the items taken, it's also unknown whether any belong to Townsend or if they're all the property of both Montgomery and Perrin.
