Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib will not take legal action against the Dallas Police Department for falsely stating that the Pro Bowler had been arrested in late June following a disturbance at a nightclub.

The police department had actually arrested Talib's brother, Yaqub, but a Dallas police major even publicized the news that Aqib was in custody on Twitter. The department subsequently apologized for its mistake.

Talib, who made his first Pro Bowl with the Patriots last season, seems to have forgiven the Dallas Police Department for any wrongdoing. From Adam Kurkijan at the Boston Herald

"No, definitely not," Talib said when asked if he is usually mistaken for his brother or vice versa. "That doesn't happen too much. But that's some hard-working guys in Dallas. They were just doing their job and they made a mistake, an honest mistake, man. It happens sometimes, man."

Players will report to Broncos training camp on July 23.
