Report: NFL Supplemental Draft includes four players

The four players eligible for the NFL's Supplemental Draft are New Mexico wide receiver Chase Clayton, North Carolina linebacker Darius Lipford, Virginia University of Lynchburg defensive lineman Lakendrick Ross and Southern Methodist running back Traylon Shead, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.

Clayton caught one pass for two yards in the Lobos' first game of 2013 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Lipford appeared in 10 games for the Tar Heels and recorded 20 tackles, six tackles for loss and two and a half sacks.

Shead was hampered by injuries in his lone season with the Mustangs, rushing for 197 yards on 51 carries. The 6-foot-4, 366-pound Ross played in 2012 but was ruled ineligible for 2013.

The supplemental draft, which is scheduled for July 11, allows teams to select players who were not part of the regular draft in May. Teams who select players in the supplemental draft must forfeit picks in the corresponding round of the next year's regular draft.

No players were picked in last season's supplemental draft.
