Report: Jay Gruden sees 'a lot of good and some bad' from RGIII in camp

New Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said he's seen "a lot of good and some bad" from quarterback Robert Griffin III so far in training camp. Washington opens the regular season on September 7 at the Houston Texans. "Hopefully by Houston he'll be ready to roll," Gruden said.

Washington opens the regular season on Sept. 7 at the Houston Texans. "Hopefully by Houston he'll be ready to roll," Gruden said.

Last year, Griffin came back from a torn ACL suffered in January 2013 in a playoff game against the Seattle Seahawks. Though he was back by Week 1, Griffin struggled and saw his completion percentage, yards per attempt and TD/interception ratio all fall dramatically from his rookie year.
