Report: Eagles' Jeremy Maclin likely out for preseason game vs. Patriots

Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin is unlikely to play in Friday’s preseason game against the New England Patriots because of a hamstring injury.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin did not practice on Thursday and is unlikely to play in Friday’s preseason game against the New England Patriotsaccording to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

Maclin injured his hamstring in practice on Wednesday after catching a pass during team drills.

Maclin is returning from missing the entire 2013 season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. He played in the team’s preseason opener against the Chicago Bears and caught one pass for 15 yards.
