Bears rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller injured his right ankle on the opening kickoff of Thursday night's preseason game against Jacksonville, but X-rays were negative, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Fuller, the 14th pick in the 2014 draft out of Virginia Tech, was seen moving around on the sideline. He is expected to challenge for playing time in the Bears' secondary.

The 22-year-old had six interceptions in four seasons with the Hokies.
