Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts III left practice early Thursday with tightness in his hamstring, Jacksonville head coach Gus Bradley told reporters

Shorts injured his hamstring on the first day of training camp, July 26. He returned to practice about three weeks later.

"It was more precautionary on our part," Bradley said, according to The Florida Times-Union. "He just had a little bit of tightness. We were looking at possibly giving him [today] off and we said, ‘Let’s go out there and see how it feels.’ Then we said, ‘Let’s not do it.’"

With Justin Blackmonsuspended indefinitely and Tandon Dossout with an injury, the Jaguars have only five healthy receivers on their roster.

Jacksonville opens the season on the road against the Eagles.
