A year after claiming the AFC South title, the Houston Texans finished last season with a 2-14 record that earned them the No. 1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.
Houston won its first two games of the year before losing 14 straight to close the season.
The Texans went on to select Jadeveon Clowney with the No. 1 overall pick. They also added veteran quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, linebacker Akeem Dent, safety Chris Clemons and running back Andre Brown.
Fitzpatrick will start for the Texans during their Week 1 contest against Washington. The team's second-string quarterback is Ryan Mallett, who was just added in a trade with the New England Patriots.
