Rams QB Shaun Hill lasted only one quarter in the team's 34-6 opening-week loss to the Vikings due to a quadriceps injury. Davis took over, completing 16 of 23 passes for 192 yards and an interception.
Davis was initially signed as a free agent by the Rams in 2012 after going undrafted. He was later cut by the team and signed to the Miami Dolphins practice squad. Davis was resigned by St. Louis in October 2013.
