Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin will not play in Sunday's game against the St. Louis Rams.

Martin injured his knee in the Buccaneers' season opener against the Carolina Panthers.

Running back Bobby Rainey will play in his place.

Before he was injured last week, Martin ran for nine yards on nine carries.

Rainey ran for just 12 yards on four carries in the game.

Last season, Rainey ran for 532 yards and five touchdowns.
