New York Giants linebacker Jon Beason will not play against the Houston Texans on Sunday. Beason re-aggravated a foot injury last Sunday.
After playing in New York's opener, Beason left last Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals in the second half after re-aggravating a previous foot injury. The three-time Pro Bowler missed all of training camp after he tore a ligament and fractured the sesamoid bone in his foot in a June OTA.
On Wednesday, the Giants said Beason may see specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Charlotte.
The 29-year-old has eight tackles on the season.
Giants rookie wide receiver Odell Beckham and linebacker Devon Kennard are also out against Houston.
