New York Giants right tackle Justin Pugh said that the Houston Texans defense “tapped out” in the second half of the Giants’ 30-17 victory on Sunday.

Pugh had been hearing questions all week about how he was going to stop All-Pro defensive end J.J. Watt.

“What's he going to do? How badly is he going to disrupt? How much is he going to hurt you guys?'" Pugh said mocking what reporters asked him during the week, according to Newsday.

The Giants ran for 193 yards on 42 carries against the Texans, led by Rashad Jennings who carried the ball 34 times for a career-high 176 yards. Watt finished with seven tackles, one sack and one pass defensed.

“Now you guys are asking the opposite question -- 'Why wasn't he disruptive?' -- and I think that's because we didn't want to hear that and we didn't want to answer those questions.” Pugh said.
