The Washington Redskins travel to AT&T Stadium in Week 8 for a Monday Night Football matchup with the division rival Dallas Cowboys

One player who has experienced both sides of the rivalry is defensive lineman Jason Hatcher, who played for Dallas before making the move to Washington.

Hatcher recently spoke with the media about the rivalry between each teams' fans, and he believes the hatred Redskins fans have for the Cowboys is stronger than the hatred Cowboys fans have for the Redskins.

“I’ll tell you what, [Washington fans] hate Dallas more than Dallas hates us over here. They really hate Dallas,” Hatcher said, according to Fox Sports.

Hatcher also said that it's impossible to escape the rivalry in the D.C. area.

“Everywhere you go, grocery store or whatever, these guys, they’re hard-nosed fans,” Hatcher added, via SportsDay DFW. “They know their players. It’s all you hear wherever you go, man. Facebook, Twitter, whatever you’re on. They hate Dallas.

“They got signs up everywhere down here. It’ll be great for the fans to experience a great Monday night game with a big rivalry. It’s great for the fans.”

The Cowboys are currently 6-1 and in first-place in the NFC East. The Redskins are 2-5 and in last place in the NFC East.
