The New England Patriots have placed wide receiver Aaron Dobson on injured reserve.
Dobson injured his hamstring during last Sunday's loss to the Green Bay Packers. The 23-year-old was a second-round draft pick in 2013 and is in his second season with the Patriots.
Dobson played just four games this season, after missing several games as a healthy inactive. He reportedly had a confrontation with offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels earlier in the season, something head coach Bill Belichick denied.
The receiver was active for the first time since Week 6 against Green Bay and finishes the season with three catches for 38 yards.
Last season, Dobson played in 12 games, making 37 catches for 519 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie.
New England (9-3) plays the Chargers (8-4) in San Diego on Sunday.
