Chiefs release tight end Anthony Fasano

The Kansas City Chiefsannounced on Thursday that they have released tight end Anthony Fasano.

In 24 games with the Chiefs between the 2013 and 2014 seasons, Fasano caught 48 passes for 426 yards and seven touchdowns. 

Prior to joining the Chiefs in 2013, Fasano played two seasons with the Dallas Cowboys and five seasons with the Miami Dolphins.

Fasano, 30, was scheduled to make $2.8 million for the 2015 season.
