Cowboys WR Dez Bryant to undergo foot, ankle surgery

Wednesday December 30th, 2015

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will undergo surgery on his ankle and foot next week, head coach Jason Garrett told reporters on Wednesday.

Bryant has been tending to a foot fracture that he sustained in the season opener. He returned on Nov. 1 but suffered an ankle injury. Bryant has been placed on the team's injured reserve.

He did not play in last week's 16–6 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

KING: Upsets abound in wild Week 16 action

The wide receiver finishes the season with 31 catches for 401 yards and three touchdowns.

The Cowboys will close out the season on Sunday against the Washington Redskins.
