Report: Bengals One of Eight Teams to Vote Against Thursday Night Football Flex Scheduling
CINCINNATI — Voting results surfaced following the NFL's approval of Thursday Night Football flex scheduling. The Bengals were one of eight teams to vote no against the change.
ESPN's Adam Schefter confirmed the New York Jets, Giants, Green Bay Packers, Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Bengals, and Pittsburgh Steelers all voted no.
Teams can now play multiple TNF games in a season, but they can't both be on the road and the flexing has to happen in Weeks 13-17.
Teams get at least a 28-day notice ahead of a change in a one-season trial run before another vote next year.
