Report: Bengals Running Back Chase Brown Signs Rookie Deal
CINCINNATI — The Bengals reportedly signed free agent running back Chase Brown on Tuesday. Aaron Wilson confirmed the signing as Brown becomes the first new Bengal to slot into his deal.
The first-round pick ran for 1,643 yards and 10 touchdowns last season at Illinois. He also had 27 receptions for 240 yards and 3 TDs.
He should be an instant competitor for third-down duties and could have that wrapped up early if Cincinnati doesn't add a veteran back.
According to Spotrac, Brown is signing a four-year deal worth $4.1 million with a signing bonus worth just over $286,000.
