CINCINNATI — Joe Burrow has added another investment to his portfolio. The Bengals quarterback is teaming up with singer Jason Derulo as investors in a new professional women's volleyball league.

Derulo himself is involved with a squad based out Omaha, Nebraska, that will compete in the Pro Volleyball Federation starting next year.

Burrow is not investing in that team, but rather the league at large. He is one of the founding partners along with former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer.

"Women's volleyball is actually leading," Derulo told TMZ Sports. "It's not the guys this time that are leading. I'd like for real pro volleyball to be the platform that just changes women's sports forever. ... The trajectory just seems so bright. It's just been growing year after year after year and if it continues on this path, especially with this platform, I think it can absolutely be the next big thing."

Derulo's business partner, Danny White, is also investing in the team with the singer.
