Report: Multiple Teams, Including Bengals Making Push to Sign DJ Reader

The veteran is generating plenty of interest.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are hoping to re-sign DJ Reader, but multiple teams are making a push to land the 29-year-old according to Josina Anderson.

The Titans and the Lions are among the teams showing "strong interest."

The defensive tackle market has been competitive. The Texans and Browns are also interested in Reader, league sources tell All Bengals.

Reader's market appears to be set after Grover Stewart agreed to a three-year, $39 million contract with the Colts. Reader should get a contract slightly bigger than Stewart's even though he's coming off of a torn quad tendon.

The Bengals are hoping to retain him, but he's generating plenty of interest from other teams.
