Njoku Will Play, Browns Announce Inactive List Against the Ravens
The Cleveland Browns announced their inactive players for today's game against the Baltimore Ravens. In the biggest news quarterback Deshaun Watson has been ruled out and will be inactive. Tight end David Njoku was a question mark after suffering burns to his face and arms in a home accident while attempting to light a fire pit.
Njoku arrived to the stadium in a mask and early reporting stated that the team was concerned about Njoku being able to wear his helmet. He will play but we shall see if he can go the entire game.
After calling up two players from the practice squad on Saturday the Browns needed to make a total of seven players inactive. Tight end Zaire Mitchell-Paden was ruled out after Njoku was confirmed to play.
The following players will be inactive today:
QB- Deshaun Watson
OG- Luke Wypler
DE- Isaiah McGuire
DT- Siaki Ika
CB- Kahlef Hailassie
S- Ronnie Hickman
TE- Zaire Mitchell-Paden
It will be interesting to watch DTR in his debut and what Stefanski focuses on with his play calls. I'd expect for the Browns to run early and often, while the defense looks to bottle up Lamar Jackson.
