Browns Acquire Additional 2024 Day Three Pick Via Trade With Titans

The Browns now have six total picks for the upcoming NFL Draft.

The NFL Draft is still about two weeks away but Browns general manager Andrew Berry is already wheeling and dealing.

According to multiple reports, Cleveland has sent backup tackle Leroy Watson to the Titans in exchange for a 2024 seventh-round pick. The additional day three pick brings the Browns pick total for this year up to six.

Watson appeared in seven games for the Browns last season, who were decimated by injuries along the offensive line. The UTSA product entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent for the Falcons in 2022 but was released as part of the team's roster cuts at the conclusion of training camp later that summer. He then wound up spending the rest of the season on the 49ers practice squad, where he stayed up until Cleveland signed him to its active roster in November.

Despite not having a first round pick for a third consecutive year as part of the Deshaun Watson trade, Berry has stockpiled a collection of six picks spread out across days two and three of the draft. The Browns are first slated to pick at 54th overall in the second round. The newly acquired Titans pick is No. 227 overall.
