Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett put together a dominant performance against the Baltimore Ravens in defeat, but on one of his hits on quarterback Lamar Jackson, he ended up getting his foot caught underneath him as he bent backward. He would continue to play in the game, but there was a noticeable limp.

Fresh off of taking precautionary X-rays, Garrett told the media, "I'll be ready," when asked about his availability after the bye. The Browns will have two weeks to heal as much as they can and work on various issues before they host the San Francisco 49ers.

Garrett was able to sack Jackson once in the game and had three other quarterback hits. He forced the first sack of the game, though Jordan Elliott and Alex Wright got the credit, splitting it.

Garrett was also asked about the timing of the bye, how it might help given some injury issues. Garrett ignored the injury part of it.

"Kinda reset like you said , but, you know, get our priorities straight. We were out of sorts and we didn't execute how we should've, you know, how we prepared all week is not what we displayed today. We just gotta continue to work on putting it all on the field and putting it altogether."

On breaking down the issues in the game, Garrett noted he'd need to watch the film, but went on to say, "...it's just a matter of being where we needed to be, making our fits, making hits, you know, there were a lot of missed tackles on the field. If you're in the right place and you're missing tackles, it doesn't matter how well you're executing."

Garrett was asked on his view of the defense after four games.

"Where I think we are? I think we're just fine."

Later, Garrett would add, "I feel optimistic for sure. I don't feel good about today cuz we got whooped, but I know this defense has proven it can be better and will be better."
