Former Buccaneers QB, NFL star Tom Brady signs multi-year media deal

Brady's ventures off the field continue to be fruitful signing a media deal to continue his podcasting platform.

Tom Brady built a Hall of Fame career over the 23 years that he spent in the NFL. Brady won seven Super Bowls while garnering multiple records and putting together a run like no other player in league history.

His budding career off of the field might end up rivaling the success that he had between the lines. Last year, Brady inked a 10-year/$375 million to join Fox Sports as an analyst after his retirement. That won't begin until 2024 as Brady takes a gap year outside of the sport.

In the meantime, he's getting plenty of practice on the airwaves and that'll continue for the foreseeable future.

Earlier this week, SiriusXM announced that it was signing a multi-year renewal to continue Tom Brady's Let's Go! podcast. Outside of Brady, the weekly show is also co-hosted by former NFL star wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Jim Gray.

In a release, the trio commented on the continuation of the show.

“I’m excited to be back with Jim, Larry and the SiriusXM family for season three of Let’s Go!” Brady said. “Thank you to all of our supporters and fans. We look forward to providing insight on the game we love again in the fall.”

“Being with Tom and Jim on SiriusXM has been a lot of fun and a great experience," Fitzgerald said. "We are really excited to be able to continue to engage with fans around the country about life and the game we all love,”

“Tom and Larry have incomparable knowledge and wisdom in so many areas." Gray said. "We have all been together for years, and it is great we’re going to continue our conversations on Let’s Go! that bring the fans deep inside, and get to know the game and these two legends even better."

The podcast will return for season 3 in the fall and will be available each week on SiriusXM's Mad Dog Sports Radio and SiriusXM NFL Radio channels. The full-length podcast can be found on the SXM App

“As the greatest quarterback in history steps away from the field and embarks on the next chapter of his career, SiriusXM will be the place to hear him talk about it all in his own words,” said Scott Greenstein, President and Chief Content Officer, SiriusXM. “Tom, Larry and Jim have produced so many ‘must listen’ moments so far in their first two seasons of Let’s Go! This is truly a one-of-a-kind show, allowing fans to connect with two of the greatest players to ever play the game. We are thrilled to extend our relationship and now make Let’s Go! available exclusively for our subscribers.”

Brady retired earlier this month after three seasons with the New England Patriots and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He guided the Buccaneers to a championship during his first year with the team but came up short during his final two seasons in the league.

While his time on the field may be done, his time off of it looks like it'll continue to be fruitful.
