Report: Cardinals Meeting With USC WR

The Arizona Cardinals are reportedly meeting with USC WR Brenden Rice.

ARIZONA -- A second Top 30 visit for the Arizona Cardinals has been reported.

According to The Draft Network's Justin Melo, the Cardinals are meeting with USC wide receiver Brenden Rice, who is also set to meet with the Carolina Panthers.

"Rice has aced the pre-draft process thus far, starting with the Senior Bowl. Ton of interest in a WR whose arrow is very much pointing up," said Melo on Twitter/X:

The Cardinals are also reportedly meeting with Washington RB Dillon Johnson for a Top 30 visit.

Arizona is set to lose Marquise Brown in free agency, though the veteran could return on a cheap deal if the market isn't as fruitful as he once thought.

As of now, second-year wideout Michael Wilson headlines a receiving corps that also features Rondale Moore. Greg Dortch is expected to be back with the team in 2024 as well.

The Cardinals are also expected to take a wide receiver early in the 2024 NFL Draft, with names such as Marvin Harrison Jr., Rome Odunze and Malik Nabers being potential options for the team near the top of the draft order.

Arizona also has pick No. 27 and a total of six selections in the first three rounds.

Rice, a native of Chandler, AZ, is 6-2 and 208 pounds, which would provide the Cardinals with another big-body receiver opposite of Wilson.

He's currently projected to be a Day 2 pick.
