We're three weeks post-NFL Draft, and over 250 collegiate players have entered the NFL fraternity. Many of these football players' dreams came true, but now is the time to put in the work with their new organization.

The Chargers landed a handful of college studs of their own and improved on many facets of their football team. Many ESPN NFL writers did a power ranking on each NFL team post-draft, and Los Angeles landed in the top 10 but dropped two spots.

9. Los Angeles Chargers

Post-FA ranking: 7

Most improved: Wide receiver

The Chargers have wide receivers

Keenan Allen

and

Mike Williams

, but what about speed and a deep-threat playmaker who can stretch a defense and create more explosiveness? The Bolts answered that question when they drafted

Quentin Johnston

No. 21 overall. Johnston joins an established group, but is expected as a rookie to be a playmaker capable of getting open deep downfield. His arrival immediately helps quarterback

Justin Herbert

and the Bolts' other playmakers who will see more space to operate with a defense having to respect a potential deep play.

The Chargers were ranked number seven in the post-free agency rankings. In this ranking, five AFC teams are ahead of them, including their division rival Kansas City Cheifs.

LA needed a wide receiver, and they did that with their first-round pick. The Chargers' front office also covered their other needs, like an edge rusher, offensive lineman, and depth at the linebacker position.

You could argue the Chargers should be within the top five or close to it, but the only thing that matters is how they perform on the field. The front office did its job; now it'll be time to see how those pieces fit on the gridiron.
