Chargers Injury News: Austin Ekeler Misses Practice Again, Status for Sunday Unclear
Chargers star running back Austin Ekeler missed practice on Friday for the third straight day.
Chargers insider Daniel Popper reported a while ago.
Ekeler has been dealing with an ankle issue that's bothered him since Sunday, and his status remains uncertain.
He said in the past that he's played through ankle sprains in the past, so this may be something the Chargers remain cautious about.
Chargers linebacker Eric Kendricks also didn't practice as he deals with a hamstring and personal issues. Kendricks made his debut for LA on Sunday, and hopefully, he can be out there on Sunday.
The good news in all this is that star rusher Joey Bosa was seen doing some individual work.
Bosa is also dealing with a hamstring injury, so to see him doing drills is an encouraging sign.
